UltraPro is an enzymatically hydrolyzed pet food ingredient from porcine raw materials that are a co-product of the human pharmaceutical industry. The main ingredient in UltraPro is %100 porcine in origin, posing no risk of the prion-related diseases found in ruminant based proteins. In addition to regular PCR testing verifying the absence of ruminant material, UltraPro is regularly subjected to gel electrophoresis tests ensuring a molecular weight of less than 10,000 daltons, affirming that no unsafe proteins have contaminated the material. UltraPro's manufacturing facility is certified under FCI's Restricted Use Protein Products guidelines.
